How to use Nolpop

How to turn one building photo into a design, step by step.

1Getting started

  1. 01

Sign up with an email address or a Google account.

  2. 02

    Create a project

Create one project per site or building; its canvas opens.

  3. 03

    Add photos

Add photos with “Add images” in the toolbar under the canvas, or drop or paste them onto the canvas.

  4. 04

    Run tools

Pick a photo or result card, then choose a tool in the toolbar. The result appears as a new card beside the one you picked.

You get 70 credits as soon as you sign up.

2Preparing photos

Every result starts from the photo. Photos like these help the tools read the building accurately.

Photos that work well

  • One building, large in the frame
  • An angle that shows the front and the side wall
  • A sharp photo taken in daylight

Good to know

  • If several buildings are in the photo, use “Crop” to keep only the one you're working on. Cropping is free.
  • Upload JPG, PNG, WebP or HEIC files up to 20MB each.
  • If the photo is too blurry or dark to make out the building, the run stops and your credits come back.

3Tools

The toolbar is grouped into Retouch and Separate. A tool uses the credits shown on its button when you run it.

ToolWhat it doesCredits
RetouchCropCrop to the one building you're working on, with a rectangle or an outline you draw.Free
RetouchRemove surroundingsRemoves trees, cars, signs and wires in front of the building and fills in the wall they hid.10 credits

SeparateBuilding cutoutCuts out just the building, as a transparent PNG.8 credits

4Credits

Credits are used only when you run a tool.

  • Running a tool uses the amount on its button.
  • If a run fails, the credits come back automatically.
  • Your balance is shown at the top right of the screen.
  • If you run short, subscribe or top up credits on the “Subscription & credits” page.

5Getting results

Every result stays on the canvas as a card linked to its original, saved to your account.

  • Pick a result card and use “Download” in the toolbar to save the image.
  • Building cutouts and window layers come as transparent PNGs.
  • If you don't like a result, run it again from its card. The original and other results stay as they are.
